Form then to now...

Well, this post should bring everything up to date (to the end of October 2007 at any rate). After this one I have some pics to post of our November trip up to the Murray River again (Cup Day is an annual event, after all) plus a secondary long weekend away to retrieve the items we left behind from the Cup Weekend! Once November is done and dusted I can just add a snippet or two as I merrily stumble along... So let's start.

The next big thing (after John's wedding) was my trip to the UK. Only the second time in almost 20 years (also went back in 2004 - conveniently before this Blog starts!). The first thing you'll note from my pics is there was NO EXPENSIVE SELF-INDULGENT SIDE TRIP TO EUROPE FOR ME! Not that I'm bitter - it's just I've nobody to go with...

So, here are the UK pics:

Averil (the OLDEST sister) seen here trying to convince her mother to run off without paying the pub bill (by the way, that's Averil on the left)

Denis in a battle of wits with two of the grandchildren (yes, you just know who's winning that one)

Howzatt! 92 not out!

Not sure what Averil's got to smile about - she is the oldest sister after all...

Norwich Cathedral - a big bugger!

Wouldn't want to have to pay for that broken window...

The Broads - think it was Wroxham?

Just my luck - the only Duke of Wellington where you can't get a drink...

Happy times...

I just knew Bertie had a smile in her! (and is that one jumper to fit two I can see?)

What's it all about, Alfie?

Two of the hardest creatures on earth to photograph (and here they are in the one shot!)

The main reason for my visit...

The smile of a Saint!

The serious side of Lewis.

Aaron - you could have straightened those pictures up for your nan.

Now you do you believe them when they say "It'll stunt your growth", Jane?
