2011 Trip to The Murray

Well, just back from our latest trip to Wahgunyha on the River Murray.

Weather was perfect: sunny and warm during the day and cool overnight.
Nobody won much on the horses - Corowa or Melbourne Cup meetings. Very relaxing time had by all with a little reading, drinking and eating the order of the day.

The old Motel doesn't change much from year to year BUT this time we noticed a massive difference/improvement! Say hello to digital TV...

Kookaburras out in force too - gathering out the back of the units early each morning and around six in the evening for their regular feed of raw meat.

Now that we are back, we will need to commence booking hotels and so on for our trip next May/June. New York for a week and around three weeks in the UK. Also a couple of extra stopovers in Hong Kong (both ways) and London (going) to organise. Before that though, we have Paul's wedding on 25 November. That will be one down and two to go.

Ah well, I'll just have to go out into the garden and shake that money tree.. a lot!
